Kaustuv Prakash Pathak is one of the founding advocates of Ashvik Legal and anchors the firm’s Guwahati office. He is enrolled to practice before the Gauhati High Court and has 15 years of standing at the Bar, having built an independent litigation practice across Assam and the wider North-East over the course of his career. He holds an LL.M. from Queen Mary University of London, which has informed a practice that combines strong regional litigation experience with an internationally-trained legal grounding.

His practice is centred on the Gauhati High Court and the Debt Recovery Tribunal at Guwahati, where he appears regularly, along with other tribunals across the region. This regional focus has made him a key figure in matters requiring representation across Assam and the North-Eastern states, an area where many firms based out of Delhi or Mumbai lack an established presence. His standing at the Bar and long-standing familiarity with the regional judiciary and tribunal system give clients continuity and reliability in matters that require sustained, on-the-ground representation in the North-East.
