Gaurav Prakash Pathak is one of the founding advocates of Ashvik Legal, practicing before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, and Central Tribunals, with over six years of experience at the Bar. He holds an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Amity Law School, Noida, and is enrolled with the Supreme Court Bar Association as well as the Bar Council of Assam & the North-Eastern States.
His practice spans across civil, criminal, labour and commercial litigation, contract management and drafting, and energy and electricity regulatory disputes before the CERC and APTEL, alongside matters before the NCLT, NCDRC and RERA. He acts as Panel Lawyer for Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) in regulatory matters, and has advised and represented clients including Jaiprakash Associates Ltd, United Telecoms Ltd, Hamdard Laboratories India, Powergrid Corporation of India, and the Assam Forest & Biodiversity Conservation body under the Government of Assam. This mix of institutional, corporate, and government clients reflects a practice built around both dispute resolution and ongoing regulatory and contractual advisory work.
As a founding advocate, he brings a combination of commercial law training, energy-sector regulatory experience, and cross-border legal perspective to Ashvik Legal, complementing the firm’s litigation-heavy North-Eastern and Delhi practices with deeper transactional and regulatory capability.
